糖代谢在很多生化过程中都扮演了重要的作用。那么什么是糖类呢,wikipedia对糖的定义是多羟基的醛或酮及其衍生物的有机化合物,可以以直链或环的形式存在。糖类物质的基本组成单位包括半乳糖、果糖以及十分重要的葡萄糖等单糖物质,在能量的储存和运输以及作为结构性组分在生命过程中扮演着重要的角色。百泰派克公司采用以GC/MS(7890A/5975C)和ACQUITY UPLC/TripleQuad5500(Waters/AB Sciex)两大平台联用,从而实现多类糖类物质及代谢相关的糖类物质,进行定量及定性分析,其中涉及到的95%的物质均使用标准品和同位素标准品定量。
机体内糖类物质的代谢途径主要包括葡萄糖的无氧酵解、有氧氧化、磷酸戊糖途径,糖醛酸途径、多元醇途径、糖原合成与糖原分解、糖异生以及其他己糖代谢等。如,其中糖酵解主要的生理功能是在缺氧时迅速提供能量。三羧酸循环,也称柠檬酸循环,是糖、脂肪和蛋白质等物质在体内被彻底氧化的共同代谢途径。
